Prototype is a short comic I made for my ex-girlfriend’s birthday. It’s setting will be familiar to homestuck fans; an AU where a group of friends (including her and I) play SBURB.
This comic is meant to be printed out and made into a booklet, with each image taking up half a page.
The narrative is a little dense, due to the limited number of pages and the limited amount of content on each page. It jumps around quite a bit chronologically, following a specific quest with shots into the past (conveniently headered “THE PAST”). Trying to figure out exactly what is going on is part of the puzzle.
While this will be most entertaining to those who know us in real life, hopefully others will like it a little :)
